We-Create continues to integrate best-in-class content into its new patent pending local “suggestion” engine (Lozzal). Lozzal is a new and innovative service that allows the mobile user to receive activity “suggestions” based on his/her location. Lozzal combines vague cravings like “I want excitement” with an awareness of a users environment to suggest local activities and places or business to visit.

Flagler Focus will change the way Flagler County uses the internet

Beginning in the second half of 2009, a new source of information featuring the latest in local news, trends, and opinions will change the way Flagler County uses the internet. That resource is Flagler Focus.

Flagler Focus is a community web portal with one goal in mind—encouraging the development of the local economy.

The need for a locally-focused website with Flagler’s economy in mind was realized at a meeting held in the fall of 2008 co-sponsored by the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce and The Flagler Broadcasting Company (WNZF, Beach 92.7 Radio). At the meeting, representatives from both groups demonstrated the economic impact of spending within Flagler County versus spending outside our county.

The message was clear. Keeping local dollars within Flagler County provides a positive benefit to everyone in our community. Keeping Flagler County dollars in Flagler creates more local jobs, generates more sales tax revenues for community and social services, builds a stronger business community, and helps Flagler County grow.

In response to these findings, the slogan for a pivotal new local strategy was born: BUY IT IN FLAGLER!

Flagler Focus directly supports that initiative. We are excited and proud to present FlagerFocus.com as your community web portal to local news, views, events, and social and commercial networking for Flagler.

 

Flagler Focus is an interactive site driven by member-generated content that focuses on Flagler County, with all the Social and Commercial networking functionality found in popular sites as Facebook, Google and YouTube.  Visitors to our community portal have the ability to create personal profiles, favor businesses, buy and sell online, view local news and events, blog, post pictures and videos, and access our local business directory.

Flagler Focus is owned and operated by Special FX Marketing, Inc., in association with WNZF, Beach 92.7 radio stations and the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce and Affiliates. No public funds will be used to operate the community portal.
